We had a great time on a motor bike ride through the mountains of Washington. Boy did my but hurt by the time we were finished. Not just the aching bones I have all the time but also the bones I sat on for the past few days.
On Sunday before we left I was wondering wheather we would be able to go or not. My hip stopped working for me . I was in such pain and could not move my leg that much. I left work early that day. I could barely stand let alone feel good to be able to serve customers. I got told that I had a bad attitude and was very mean with a couple of people. Well when you hurt that bad you can't do too much about that. I would really love to find another job that you don't have to deal much with customers and can do what has to be done. I know no such job as that for someone with little education and is in her 50's.
Anyways on with or little adventure. Hubby drove on his harley and I sat n the back and did the biker chick thing. We didn't get any rain until the last day. And we were just about home then so not too bad. The Cascade mountains driving through is beautiful.and hot We started off in the northern Cascades went down through the Columbia River valley and then back across at the southern Cascades. Saw allot of country and hubby even found a Harley dealer to stop in at. Woopee!!! Hey I was just along for the ride. I bought an extra jell seat to sit on but well I guess it did help a little. I could stand sitting there for a few more hours then what I use to. The only part of trouble was getting on and off. Legs don't work right some times a nd I have trouble getting them to get me off or on the bike. Anyone got a crain I could use.
You know the only thing I can say about the other side of the mountains is that the weather is different there. They say arthritis has nothing in effect to the weather. Well now I beg to differ. we were in the dryer area and I didn't hurt as much. Now that I am back well the pain is starting to show it's yukky signs again. my legs have been hurting on and off for the past few days.
The craft fair I did on Saturday after we go back. Nice time to sit outside and watch the people walk by. But I didn't sell anything. I think I am going to have to find another outlet to get rid of my work. Craft fares are not going to cut it. People walk by they look and say my work is beautiful but not their style. I went to the Missin arts council today. I have been excepted to do their Christmas craft fare in November. Have to see if that will get me anywere. Well I guess the more exposure the more people see what I am doing. I am going to have to think along the lines of a web site or something along that lines. Does anyone out there give me some pointers. I have no clue when it comes to that. I guess my blog is not reaching anyone either to show off my work. I was right no one reads these that are just trivial stuff. Well I guess it is off to work to peave off some more customers. Haven't been there in a week. Do I still know what I am doing. I doubt it but I will get back in the swing in no time.
Talk again later.
