I had yesterday afternoon were I finally got a bit of time in the garage. Yeah!!! I had some sawdust time.
My jewellery box is coming along great. I have the bottom of it done now. All rotared out and the dividers are in and the felt put on.
I did the top yesterday, rotared out the inside to make it a little lighter. Just have to even out a few cuts and sand them down. Then I can put the felt into the top.
Then there is the centre piece. Allot of rotaring to do on the centre piece to block out the holes. Then the felt goes into that area and then a piece of foam so that rings can be stuck in places.
The last thing then is to put it all together with the hinges then the clear coat to shine it all up. Then a little hardware.
Well it is coming together. I have tribulations about it turning out okay. I am my own worse critic, but I will see when it is done. For now I just wonder whether it will turn out okay or not. Confidence that is what I have to have in my work but sometimes I just what what was I thinking when I started it.
I have had a few things that I am proud of. Others I look at and think well that will have to do.
The horses I am working on as well . There is just a few more pieces I have to put on it. Again I am thinking is this going to turn out or not. For now it looks okay, but then as more piece go on I say well okay. Then more pieces go on and I think well don't think so. Time will tell. I think.
There is still the the sun catchers that are sitting on my dining room table.. Will I ever get around to doing those. I was hoping that I could maybe get them done for a craft fair. Well I guess it will be for next year when I start next years fairs.
Well now it is time for sawdust time. Talk to you next time. Two days in a row in the sawdust. YEAH!!!!
