Well just got home from another craft fair/
Again it was a bust. Didn't sell a darn thing. Got lots of lookers who say my work is beautiful and then they move onto someone else.
I am starting to wonder if there is another way to get rid of my dust collectors. I was thinkking at the craft fair about 3 quarters of the way through that a nice big bond fire would do wonders. I know I wouldn't do it but it was a thought that was going through my head at the time. I go to these things and hope that maybe something might go and then at the end of it all I have to pack everything back up and bring it home again. I would prefer if it would collect dust in someone elses house then mine. NA I tink they are like your kids. You think you can get rid of them and they just keep coming back to sit around your place again.
well I can say that not too much was being sold by anyone at this fair. Allot of people were sitting on their duffs waiting for someone to come by and take a look.
The big craft fair this weekend was at the Mission Clark center. That was the rts council one. I decide not to go with them this year and try something else. I know didn't work out the way I had planned though. I didn't want to do the Mission one this year. I didn't have much luck with them last year either. And to have to pay a big amount of money for a table and not sell anything just makes it worse.
There has to be a way to be able to get ride of things so I can make more things and keep myself active. The thing is if I don't get rid of them then I have to have them sitting around the house. And that just gets crouded. I have shelves and shelves of stuff here now that I would love to get out of the house.
I made a whole lot of things that were Christmasy last year and thye are still with me this year. They didn't go with this sale either.
I know I am just sounding discusted right now. Tomorrow is another day. Will go off and do something else and think about it later
