I can't complain today. I got down in the garage and did some saw dusting.
I also screamed and yelled allot too.
I got a jewellery box almost to complete. Makes me happy to get it so far along.
Today I got all the felt put into place and then put on the hinges and the box is almost complete. Yes!!!!!
Now I just have to get the coats of varnish on to make it look complete.
Oh the yelling and screaming came because for some reason the screws just would not go in right for me. Kept heading in not straight and then would start stripping so I was not able to get them to go the rest of the way in. Great. As I was doing this then the wood would start to crack. Not good.
So now it looks okay on the out side but the inside you can see were the wood has cracked. Doesn't make for a good effort on my part.
Well here come the critic out again. I never think much of my work. It never seems to turn out the way I want and then I just get frustrated and want to throw the whole thing away. Then I would have to fine another piece of wood and start over again. I really don't want to do that. So I will be happy with the mess on the inside and listen to my hubby tell me I could have done better. He is a worse critic then me. Tells why didn't you do this instead of that. Gezzz!
Anyways I am happy another project is just about done.
Tonight will sit on the comfy couch and do a little crocheting. I am working on another dog bed. They are nice and soft. My dogs sure do like them and this one I am working on now will give to someone who would really love it. Well I hope anyways. I am just doing wishful thinking here. I give it to her anyways and she can do whatever she likes with it. Just using up some yarn I had left over from other projects. So will be a variety of colours.
I am so happy I got a day in the workshop. Made me feel pretty good to do something besides ride around in a car and run arrends. Will be back to work tomorrow not much time tomorrow to do anything in the workshop. So now will have to wait another week and see how things are going.
